1. What This Website Is

This is a private reference site, independent of every government office. It neither stores official criminal records nor retrieves records, performs official checks, or files documents for a visitor.

Its role is to identify custodians such as the Jack County Sheriff's Open Records Unit, the County and District Clerks, the Texas Department of Public Safety Crime Records Division, and the Texas Public Sex Offender Registry. Some pages also connect to outside research tools.

2. Rules for Using This Site

Use is conditioned on avoiding the following conduct:

• Break any federal, state, or local law while using this site
• Use information you find here to stalk, harass, or threaten anyone
• Base hiring, housing, lending, or insurance decisions on content from this site
• Try to break into our systems or gain access you are not supposed to have
• Run bots, scrapers, or automated tools against our pages
• Interfere with performance or prevent another visitor from accessing the site

3. No Harassment, Stalking, or Discrimination

Information obtained here or through a linked tool must not be used to harass, stalk, intimidate, threaten, or discriminate. Such conduct may be criminal. Texas Public Sex Offender Registry data is provided for safety awareness, not vigilantism or blacklisting. Texas law and the registry warning prohibit unlawful use against a listed person.

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

This website is not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA. It produces no credit report, consumer report, or official background check. Its data and linked tools may not be used to:

• Decide whether to hire or fire someone
• Screen potential renters or housing applicants
• Judge creditworthiness or set insurance premiums
• Determine who qualifies for licenses, permits, or government programs
• Do anything else that falls under FCRA rules

A legally permitted check for an FCRA-regulated purpose must come through a properly compliant provider or the applicable official Texas process.

5. No Legal Advice

Nothing published here is legal advice. General explanations of Jack County records cannot determine how a charge, conviction, warrant, expunction, or nondisclosure rule applies to a particular person. Consult a licensed Texas attorney for legal advice.

6. No Warranties

All material is supplied “as is,” without a guarantee that:

• The information here is accurate, complete, or current at any given time
• The site will stay up and running without interruptions
• Our pages are free of errors, bugs, or security holes

10. Indemnification

You agree to defend and hold us harmless from claims, demands, or proceedings caused by your use of the site or violation of these terms, including related legal costs and fees.

11. Governing Law

Texas law governs these terms. Any dispute tied to use of the website must be brought in a court located in Texas. The Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act, Business and Commerce Code Chapter 17, applies only as the law provides and is not expanded by these terms. Official Jack County agency records remain subject to the Texas Public Information Act, Government Code Chapter 552, and DPS public criminal-history dissemination is governed by Texas Government Code §411.135. Those statutes do not make this private website a government custodian.

12. Changes to These Terms

These terms may be revised. A revision becomes effective when the updated text is posted here.

13. Cutting Off Access

Access may be limited or terminated at any time, for any reason, without advance notice.

14. Severability

If one provision is held invalid or unenforceable, all remaining provisions continue. The affected language will be narrowed only as needed to make it enforceable.
